The Foundation is a voluntary, independent, non political organisation, registered under the law to operate for private benefit.

Foundation's activities cover investigation and popularisation ofachievements in different areas of knowledge, science, culture andsociety.

For the achievement of its goals, the Foundation is involved in research, development and implementation of scientific, technological, conomic and culturalprojects on important national and international matters.

The Foundation has the following purposes:

• Science communication;

• Development of criteria aimed unification of differentscientific theories and concepts and between the knowledge and the practice;

• Organisation and partnership in seminars, symposia and conferences in Bulgaria and abroad on topics of Foundation's areas of interest;

• Organisation of competitions and exhibitions;

• Lecturing and analysis on the latest achievements of science,technology, art and culture;

• Participation in scientific, technical, economic, cultural and art projecton issues when solutions to problems appear to be of importance to thesociety;

• Presentation of interdisciplinary ideas and concepts, exchange betweenscientists from different areas, art, culture and technology and especially on organic chemistry,biology, ecology and agrarian sciences.
